Anthony Kumpen and Bert Longin opt for young talent

Martin Van Hove and Stienes Longin will team up with Anthony Kumpen and Bert Longin for the 2015 season of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series. Van Hove and Longin jr. will go all the way in their racing cars owned by PK Carsport in an effort to claim the Elite 2 title.
It has been known for a while that Anthony Kumpen and Bert Longin would again defend the colors of PK Carsport in Elite 1 of the 2015 Nascar Whelen Euro Series. Unknown yet were the drivers of the cars in the Elite 2 division. Well, we’re happy to announce that Martin Van Hove will be driving the #24 Chevrolet and Stienes Longin will take the wheel on car #11.

“We have every reason to look forward to the new season", says Bert Longin. “2014 turned into a big success, especially when taking into account that it was our first year in that championship. This being said, we want to do even better this year, in both categories. That’s why I’m delighted that we managed to put together such a strong team."

“With heats on the oval of Venray (NL) and the finals in Zolder, national attention for the Nascar Whelen Euro Series will only grow in 2015", Kumpen believes. “Since people will view us as the home team on the track in Terlaemen, we are obliged to mark a strong result there. Martin and Stienes are definitely a great asset in that respect. Stienes already demonstrated his great talent in the few races he drove last year and I’m convinced Martin is capable of doing the same. Following his successes in the karting world, he gained experience in GT racing, and in 2012 he also joined in a few races of the Nascar Whelen Euro Series. In short, we have all it takes to aim for the title with both cars in Elite 1 as well as in Elite 2."
